And I thought I was the only one who did not want a FB page due to privacy.....Mine has my first initial with my married last name only, without a pic, don't want people to find me either. Never thought of setting it up with the dog's info and his pic...LOL

I did a facebook page with my maiden name and do not open it to anyone to 'friend' me :) My daughter is not happy about it but she can IM me or text me or call me anytime instead :)

I went to Walgreen's earlier today and the shelves were cleared of all the sale items from Sunday's circular :( I ended up having to go to Walmart. I did call Walgreen's Corporate Office and speak to the manager at the store with no success.

vlynn, I have Java 6, and if I understood what I was reading, the security problem was with Java 7?? Am I ok if I just leave it alone as Java 6? While I don't want security issues, I don't want my computer to get messed up so I can't print coupons.

smolder13 - Each of my dogs has a facebook account that they graciously allow me to use for couponing purposes. I would notdream of allowing all the junk and spam on my real facebook page. I have been very clear on each page including pictures that it is the page of a dog. They each have an email as well. One of the dogs has dozens of emails each week from the sites she has visited from her FB page

I'm thinking of signing up for a facebook account for coupon purposes only. I don't have any experience with FB at all, so I'm wondering how to set it up so that people don't find me and try to friend me and stuff like that, since this is not what I want the account for. Eventually I might want to set up a social account as well, so how would I go about setting one up specifically for accessing coupons without people trying "find me" so to speak. Has anyone else done something like this? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but like I said, I have never used FB at all and don't want to mess it up. TIA. :)

Packy, some Kroger stores allow many of the same coupon, some don't. All you can do is try. I know the one in Fuquay lets me use as many as 8 of the same (that's all I've ever tried).

And you can do as many as the "10" deals in a single transaction as you're willing to buy :) I've done 5 in one transaction - meaning I bought 50 of the items that were included in the Buy 10 Get $5 instant savings deal.

If you want to check first, talk to someone at CS desk first and then you'll know :)

Packy, Watch your change too. When I went on Sunday the change spits out of a machine and they hand you the bills. It shorted me 20 cents and the cashier told me it happens all the time.

BTW, I did go to Kroger this weekend for the first time and tried to get their 5lb of potatoes. Well! They didn't have them so the produce manager told me to chose ANY bag of potatoes and I could get them for 1.99 which was the sales price..and that I should chose a 10lb bag for the better deal. I was blown away! And THEN when the price printed out of his little machine it was *1.79* instead of the 1.99. So I got 10 lbs of potatoes for 1.79. Unbelievable.

Just a fyi for everyone about the Java problem that can cause your computer to be hijacked when you are surfing the web. There was an article in the N&O yesterday about it. Make sure you update to Java 11 and bring up the java console in the control panel after you update to turn off the ability to run java scripts in browsers. This is a very dangerous security hole and everyone needs to be aware of it!
