okay, thanks comprehendtheobvious

stopped @ HT today. 3lb bags of Florida grapefruit were 1.97 and with the recent fresh grapefruit coupon they were free - I picked up 12 grapefruits for free!

Are there coupons in this weekends paper? With the MLK holiday Monday wasn't sure if I should get a paper or not?

Nakabi Is $84 a good price for a laser printer ?? It is a canon multi function printer/copier/scanner; It is listed as an $81 savings at WalMart's website. I am currently shopping for ink so I will let you know if I find any more laser printers.

I see someone else beat me to my question lol..I was going to ask where the best place to buy laser printers is. I got my last one at Sams Club, but I am definitely not spending a lot of money on another printer and they seem to be pricy there. Any recommendations? I'd like to stay under $100

rwsmith1112: We just purchased a Kodak printer and Kodak sells the ink cartridges cheaper than any other brand. We purchased it at Target and this is the 2nd one we have owned.

DeM - I've also got an all-in-one inkjet printer that I run through cartridges a lot. Do you mind my asking who/where you purchase your cartridges from on Ebay (and if they're new or remanufactured)? Are you happy with how the quality of them and how long they last? Thanks! (Like yourself, I turn in my used cartridges to Staples for Staples Rewards.)

rwsmith1112 - I have a Brother MFC 240C, and have owned other MFCs from Brother over the past 20 years. I'm very pleased, and the machine has fax and scan (altho rarely used) as well. I get non-OEM cartridges in bulk on eBay for about $1 each, which I trade in at Staples for $2 credit each.

ctrippallen- I probably worded the sale wrong(sorry!) It isn't a hang tag, but a tag that hangs on the shelf :) I found the deal at the Harris Teeter on Walnut St as well as Harrison Ave in Cary this week. The signs are listed throughout the Kelloggs cereal. The offer is valid through 1-22-13.

Thanks for the info Nancy!

rwsmith - we bot away from color or any type of inkjet printer years ago and are very pleased with overall reduced cost. Granted the laser cartridges are expensive up front, but much cheaper per page than inkjet cartridges. The laser printers have gotten pretty cheap for black/white and we're really happy with our Samsung printers. And there is an online source for cheap cartridges for inkjet or laser that we use and have been thrilled with - great customer service if ANY problem crops up too! It's http://www.ldproducts.com/ And make sure any printer you buy they offer the cartridges there first as some they don't.

I'd appreciate recommendations for a reasonably priced printer that works well for printing coupons. Cartridges that don't cost a fortune would be a big plus! Thanks!

Couple more coupons

Peanut Butter & Co. has a B1G1 coupon on their facebook.

Ritter Sport Chocolate has $1/2 bars, expires 3/2 http://www.ritter-sport.de/blog/fan_downloads/downloads/RITTER%20SPORT_US_COUPON_WINTER_2013.pdf

Went by Petsmart this afternoon, they had the ProPlan can dog food on sale for $1 a can (normally $1.49). I used 2 of the B2G2 free coupons from coupons.com. * cans of dog food for $4.54 with tax (a savings of over $8).

I posted about klip2save yesterday. I have been using them recently and really like them. No minimums, no maximums and $1 shipping. Plus they list the new ads on the Wednesday and Friday before they are in the paper and mail out 6 days a week. So I can get Sundays coupons on Monday, which is pretty good.

DianeNC, our school collects the drink pouches....we turn them in for points and in turn we can use points to buy stuff or get money for our school. my email in ctondee31205@yahoo.com

Does anyone know any school/organization, etc. that collects Capri Sun and Minute Maid type drink pouches for recycling?

From the Carolina Hurricanes Facebook page:

The Papa John's CANIAC promotion is back. When the Canes win, you get 50% off regular menu price the day after the game with the promo code CANIAC. To welcome the team back, Papa John's is letting you use the code today and tomorrow for online orders at PapaJohns.com

Thanks, phyllis. So it's probably that I just looked after they were out of the Boca coupon that I was interested in. I'll sign up and give them a try.

I have used klip2save coupon service for a while now,. they usually have everything i'm interested in. I get a email sometimes as early as Tuesday for upcoming coupons, and they only charge $1.oo shipping charge for as many coupons as you want, one time I ordered so many they come in 2 separate envelopes but i still only paid $1.oo shipping charge, they shipped quickly and you can order as little as you want or as many as you want, i'm happy with them no problems so far.

jdouglas13-I looked at klip2save and they didn't have the Boca burger coupon that I was interested in ordering, which is why I was looking for more info on other services. Maybe I should just be happy with what I get from my 2 Sunday papers... :)

smolder, most of the coupon clipping services, The Coupon Clippers included, require minimum purchases in both quantity of individual coupons and total dollar amount spent. For that reason, I usually try to team up with my Dad to get to the quantity needed.

Someone (sorry can't remember who) yesterday mentioned another coupon clipping site that actually did NOT have a minimum, and I think shipping/handling was $1. Here's the link: http://klip2save.com/ I have not used them myself, so can't vouch for them personally.

What/where is the hang tag for the HT cereal deal?

Faye, if you have time could you do a post (or provide the link if you have already done one) on coupon clipping services? Specifically things like: which ones are good to use, limits that are required (max and min order amounts or # of coupons required) for each and how best to take advantage of these services? I was just looking into the coupon clippers and I'm not certain how to order in the quantities they require without ending up with a lot of wasted coupons. Maybe I am just not understanding their requirements. Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA.

Thanks Faye :)

HT and LF do not price match, juanita.

Does anyone know if HT or LF do price match?

HT has a great Kelloggs cereal promo. Apple Jacks, Corn Pops, Rice Krispies, Fruit Loops, etc are on sale for $1.97. There is also a hang tag for an additional $1 off of each cereal(limit 4). There are several coupons out that can be used, I used $1/3 printable from the kelloggs website. If no coupons are used you are still getting cereal for .97! :-)
