I went to the IGA today and purchased: 3 Ragu Spaghetti Sauces, 2 Jif Peanut Butter, 2 packages of split chicken breasts, 2 Borden Cheese Singles, 2 packaged of sliced cooked ham, 6 Yoplait yogurts, 1 Nature Made Vitamin C, 2 Roma tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 1 package of ground beef, 6 Lean Cuisine, 2 packages of American Blend salads. I saved $18.13 and had 2 coupons totaling $1.40, I paid $59.96 for 30 items.

Hi, can someone please explain how those coupons work that say for example 1.00 off fruit if you buy two cereals? Can you use one for the fruit and one for each cereal or is that pushing it?? Thanks, Sharon

wifeandkids: I signed up for that calendar last year as well and never received it. I forgot all about it until you mentioned it. I wonder if they ran out and that is why we never got one.

I had a question I was hoping someone could help me with - I was under the impression that even if a coupon had a Rite-Aid, Walgreens or some other retailer's logo on it, as long as it said Manufacturers Coupon on it, it could be used anywhere - I thought they just put their logos on these coupons because they wanted to get you to use it at their store.

I was just at Target where I was trying to stack a Rite-Aid Manufacturers Coupon with a Target coupon, but it wouldn't scan for them. Even though it visually looked like a Rite-Aid coupon, it clearly had the words "Manufacturer Coupon" on it. It wasn't until they read the fine print on the bottom that stated, "Good only at Rite-Aid Pharmacies," etc. that we knew why it wasn't scanning for them.

Could someone help clarify this for me - how can a coupon be both a manufacturer coupon, yet a store coupon at the same time?

Just got back from Lowe's Foods. 4 packs of center cut chops, 2 packs of Oscar Meyer turkey sandwich meat, 6 packs of shredded cheese, 3 cans of biscuits, 4 packs of bacon, 1 purell that was on clearance and 2 packs of OM bologna. OOP $43...saved $44. That was great considering I only used 2 coupons! That's a lot of meat, I think for that amount of money.

The last ibotta receipt I submitted was accepted quickly but it took a day for the money to show in my account, smolder.

I just submitted a receipt to Ibotta and got confirmation almost immediately that I was credited for the purchase. However the money I just earned is not being added to my total earned. It shows up as earned in the itemized list, but is not included in the total. Anyone else have this happen? I'm wondering if it just needs time to register and will be totaled later or if I need to contact them about it.

Kroger has Good n' Natural bars. I tried them awhile ago and they were HORRIBLE!

jdouglas, I think those ones on canorganizer are cardboard and I am not sure they are preassembled. But they look like they would be pretty good. There are others out there (although more expensive) that are plastic or metal. I even saw one that was one long one with adjustable dividers to account for different size cans.

I am very blessed to have a large, double door pantry in my little rental house, with lots of floor space. I've been using some kids' toy storage bins on wheels that I got at Target (on a great sale of course). The wheels make it so easy to pull out, because they get really heavy with all the cans. It's not a perfect solution because it's hard to get to the bottom of the bin, but it's way better than the can avalanches I used to have.

Keep an eye on the discount section in Foodlion if you have fuzzy friends. FLion cat food was marked down to $.22/can. I received a $.25 credit for each can after purchase with the FL brand promotion. Good deal!

Someone asked the other day about can storage. I do stack mine but it got me thinking about efficient use of space. I did a quick search for can storage rack and there are tons of sites/alternatives out there.
