@jdgoulas-thanks for the info on Penzeys spices. We use a lot of saffron in our cooking and yes, it is extremely expensive! One small jar from HT lasts us about 2 weeks..a good percentage of our grocery budget goes to spices/herbs...

Faye, I think I was a couple of people back behind you in line at Target! I made a major score there - 3 boxes of Reynolds Aluminum foil in boxes with holiday designs on the box - .29 cents each for 70 sq feet/box! When I saw you I wondered if someone had put them there after you went through the aisle! I was surprised you hadn't snagged them! I told the other woman on the aisle and she got the other 3 boxes!

$16 on sale?? Yikes, nakabi! I know saffron is very pricey though. Are you familiar with Penzeys Spices in Cameron Village in Raleigh? They have wonderful spices and everything is always very fresh. The kids of Penzeys opened a spice store as well with an online presence thespicehouse.com (do not leave out THE, or you will land on a not so nice site!) Their spices and herbs are also wonderful, and a bit less expensive than Penzeys.
