thrift - on their website it says, "To ensure product availability for all customers, we limit redemption to 4 like coupons. For example, if you have five of the same coupons and have purchased five items, we will accept four of the coupons." Hope that helps!

How many IP coupons will Lowes Foods accept for the same item in a transaction? For example, if I wanted to buy 4 bags of Chex Mix, would they accept 4 IPs? tia.

Kroger is having a 'pop n save" game on their website.

You sign in and then put 5 of the buy 5 items in your "cart" to unlock the game (it really isn't a cart). Then you hit the unlock button and then a star shaped balloon to win between $1 and $15 off your next shopping trip, which is then loaded on your card. I won $15!!!!

I usually let my savingstar climb to at least $10, but have gone higher. If you put your Kellogg codes in Jan 2-4, they are giving triple points. I just got an email.

Can you accumulate savings at savingstar more or do you have to use it once they notify you. I'd like to save up at least $15, but didn't know if you can do that. When you get the Amazon GC from SavingStar, does it expire?

jdouglas-yes I go to the farmers market on Lake Wheeler. I love elephant garlic so much more than regular garlic and they sell it there.

Nakabi, I didn't know the Farmers Market had garlic. Do you go to the State market on Lake Wheeler Rd?

On another note, Faye, wanted to give you a heads-up that I posted a sort-of recipe on Monday's menu post for baked spinach-stuffed tomatoes, in case anyone is interested. :)

cushioncritter-I generally buy my garlic at the farmer's market. It's fresh and cheap :) If I can't get to the farmer's market, I will buy it at HT.

There is a coupon in the smart shopper link for $1/2 special k cereals but in parenthesis it states (redeemable at winco). Does that mean we can't use it at HT?

Bloomhappy, re your black t-shirt question from yesterday - you might want to check the Soffee outlet in Smithfield if you will be in the area. I believe the t-shirts there are pretty cheap.

Another suggestion is the 3-packs of men's undershirts (Hanes and Fruit of the Loom) at Walmart in the underwear section. I recall them not being a whole lot.

cushioncritter-I bought some nice looking garlic from HT last week for .50 a piece, but not sure if that was a sale price for last week or if that is the regular price.

I called Lysol because my Healthy Touch dispenser stopped working. They took me through some trouble shooting and it still didn't work so they are sending me a coupon for a replacement machine. Pretty awesome response!

Where is a good place to get Garlic? The Garlic from the Food Lion has brown spots. The Aldi Garlic is great and cheap but says "Product of China" and I just saw an article about the severe water and air pollution problems they are having in China.
