Stopped by Target in Knightdale to check out the sales. All of the wrapping paper was gone! Could not believe it. There was plenty of candy - my mission was the white chocolate peppermint M&Ms. Wow, they are good. Had a $1/2 coupon and got them for 99 cents each. 2 bags are enough of those things. I had several $1/2 Ghiradelli standup bag coupons that expire 12/31 so I scattered them around the bags - hope you found some to make that a good deal.

amomoftwo and claytonsaver - A deal has been reached regarding the milk price increase so we should NOT see the increases that were possible had a deal not been reached. Experts for a couple weeks have been anticipating that there would be an extension on the 2008 farm bill and today there was. Here is more info for you:

I was at CVS in Fayetteville today and found Natural Insticts hair color on clearance for $2.24...used my coupons for $2.00 off only paid .24 for each box!

I saw on Twitter that the "dairy cliff" could send milk prices to $6-8 a gallon. The current policy regulating federal payments to farmers expires Monday... Farmers actually don't want the price to skyrocket because consumption will drop.

The Lowe's on High House has Diamond nuts (in the shell, 1 pound bags) for $1 a bag. They didn't have any walnuts but they did have pecans, almonds and brazil nuts.

Target has their Christmas clearance at 70% off!! The Morrisville Target is still signed 50% off but it is ringing 70% (I had so much fun telling people as they were walking around the Christmas section!!).

Ran into someone at HT today that told me they heard that the price of milk was supposed to double in the next week or so. Has anyone else heard anything about this?
