ncveteranswife - Do you recall where the Toys R Us coupons where in the paper the week before? I'm looking for the $3 for Hasbro to apply against the $10 LIFE game. Thanks in advance!

Here's a word of praise for the Jersey Mike's in Fuquay-Varina. I went in today to pick up some lunch. When I ordered I joked that since it's my birthday, I was getting what I really wanted and not what was healthy. When I got to the register to pay, the cashier told me they email coupons for a free sub and drink on your birthday, so she rang my up free. Great customer service and wonderful free birthday lunch!

Nanny113, yes his cobbler involves a dutch oven. We've never made a cobbler any other way :) I've never used tapioca before but I will look into that. I can get really good deals on canned fruit so that would be great. Thanks for the information!

Wanted share this fun advent calendar by Jacquie Lawson that just came out. We've gotten it the last 3 years, and it's become a tradition! It's so inexpensive ($4) and so much fun to open every day, while counting down to Christmas :-) https://www.jacquielawson.com/advent

I need to have an easy Thanksgiving this year, so I'd like to get a Butterball boneless turkey breast. Has anyone found a good price for these? Thank you!

meridith88: I'll bet your husband's cobblers involve a Dutch Oven!! Ever thought of trying canned fruit and thickening up the juice with tapioca? I've had some pie recipes that have called for canned peaches and blackberries in their own juice and using tapioca to thicken the juice into a sauce. It sure would be cheaper than the canned pie filling.
