I received (3) 40 bonus box tops ($4.00value) during triples at HT couple weeks back and I don't use these. If there is anyone that would like them please e-mail me at: and send me your address and I will mail them to you.

Very excited about my trip to HT today, or at least I was until I read the terrible news about HT's shareholders approving the Kroger deal.

I bought a 7 packages of meat, 4 of cheese, lots of fresh veg, canned tomatoes, other items, and a propane tank exchange. Total $104.49, oop $27.01 :)

Beths, I'm thinking you need cold apps? A cheese ball with a variety of cra@kers and veg can be nice as can an antipasto plate with a variety of things -- cheeses, olives, veg, salamis, etc. Bruscetta is another option that has a million different variations. You could do a flavored cream cheese spread topped with a thin slice of pear (dipped in lemon juice so it doesn't brown) or something with sundried tomatoes or pesto. Homemade cheese sticks made out of strips of puff pastry sheets are always a big hit and very easy. You can make them look fancy if you want by wrapping them with paper thin proscuitto. It would be nice if you serve something that a vegan could eat as well like maybe hummus served in a hollowed out artichoke or something with fresh veggie sticks or even guacamole served with tortilla chips. The guac could be be served from a few red and yellow peppers. I'm trying to think of easy, make ahead, nice served cold and things that can sit for a bit.

WorkinMom, The disposable K-cups are really convenient, but it's much more economical to buy a couple of reusable "My K-cups" and use your own ground coffee with the Keurig.

Hubs got a Keurig for his birthday and now looking for economical places to purchase (either in-store on on-line). I have some $1,25 Qs to use during SDs but what about until then? Suggestions?
