Thank you! I don't get to Target often, so I'll make sure I pop in soon and scoop them up if they are still on sale! I bought 6 last year and they're great in the crockpot - produce so many various meals!!

stephlw, not sure where you are, but I have seen them at the Wal-Mart, in the bakery/deli area. You may be able to call around to some local bakeries and see if they'd work out a deal with you or even donate them. Tell them you teach and everything has to be store-bought...just see what happens. Maybe the Christmas spirit will hit them. :)

I had two of the KRE-O Transformers coupons, FREE, and went to Walgreens where they were buy 2 get one free. So I got three, used my couons and got all three for nothing. :)

Arghh....went to Target today - forgot to check on turkey breast price...not surprising. :-)

Hopefully all the stores are offering the sale until December 24. Thanks for the info clnh4405!

Hmmm..good suggestion, LAXmom. Not sure I can make the leap, but will consider it the next time London Broil is affordable again...sometime around 2020. lol (actually it's a decent price at Food Lion this week).

Does anyone know where to buy gingerbread man shaped cookies? I want to do a writing activity with my class but can't make the cookies -- must be store bought.

I looked at the turkey breasts at Target right before Thanksgiving, and the sign said the price was good until Dec. 24. So I'm betting they are still 99 cents a pound there. (I hope so because I was planning to get one for Christmas!)

I'm with you Faye -- that's why I started having the butcher grind London Broil for me to avoid that problem so I get to choose what goes in.

genialyn - It's a texture thing. I don't do ground anything that may involve gristle. But I do love veggie burgers. Does that count? :-)
