One of my local Food Lions has a stack of a Cough & Cold Care Guides in one of their entrances that includes coupons for a variety of health care related products.

djoyner636 - I've had a savings account with ING Direct for years (when they were running a previous promotion), and just opened up one of the Electric Orange checking accounts as part of one of their current promotions where I'm eligible for $125 to be deposited in the account if I make 10 purchases or deposits to the account in the next 45 days.

Their promotions end at midnight tonight. I believe if you go to their website, there should be more specific information.

For those who have light strings or pre-lit trees with miniature bulbs that don't work (not LED bulbs), I found what I think is the greatest thing ever - Light Keeper Pro.

It has a quick fix trigger to make the burned out bulb shunt work so you can see which one it is, an audible voltage detector, light tester and bulb puller.

I have saved a bunch of money with this tool. I bought it for $20 at Home Depot a few years ago and have used it every year since to fix our pre-lit tree. Every year I try to tell everyone I know about it, so I am telling you all as well. BTW, I'm not affiliated with the company, just a satisfied customer.

LilCoop - I think I saw an option on the News and Observer site or phone menu to get last Sunday's paper with coupons.

Davidhall82 - Harris Teeter offers either the Super Doubles or Triple coupon promotion every 4 to 6 weeks. They usually offer Super Doubles (where they double coupons that are $2 or less - so a $2 coupon doubles to $4), but sometimes they offer triples (where they triple coupons that are .99 or less face value). They have not offered eith promotion in December for a couple years so the next one will probably be in early January if they follow the same schedule as last year.

Lowes Foods offered the Super Doubles promo a few times in 2012. but not on a regular schedule. Because they just started doing it again after taking a break of many years, we have no idea what they will offer in 2013.

Food Lion offered double coupons 1 time in early 2013 and it was a bust. No really good deals and they have not offered it since. Hope that helps!
