Do you buy in the paper boxes or in the store? Before you buy any papers, look in them to make sure there are coupons.

Oh sorry, it's not the holiday weekend yet! We should get one this weekend but not next weekend.

Packy, we don't ususally get inserts on holiday weekends but I'm not sure.

I could have sworn I saw someone mentioned not having inserts this weekend but I can't find it now. Is this true? I'm gonna hate if I spend almost $4 on papers to have no inserts.

Thanks for the gnocci recipe jdouglas13! question: do you use a passatutto for the potatoes or does a masher work the same? I had some great pumpkin gnocci at some restaurant in upstate NY when I was in varsity and it was sooo good! have you ever tried the pumpkin gnocci? I think it had pecorino cheese on top, but don't remember for certain.

I just follow the recipe for the gnocchi "G" without the pesto. Here are some of my tips: Weigh the potatoes. Use a stand mixer to combine everything. If the dough is too crumbly, add an extra egg yolk. When I first made them, I shaped them on the G board with the little ridges, but that is really time consuming. I have been omitting that step, and can have a huge batch of G made within 15 minutes. If you have a bench knife, you can cut through the ropes of dough really fast. As I cut the G, I put them on a parchment lined half-sheet pan dusted well with flour so they don't stick. Put the whole pan in the freezer for a couple of hours, then transfer G to a ziploc bag keep frozen till ready to use.

To cook: boil a big pot of salted water. Add G and stir gently. They float when done. Drain, add butter, parsley, garlic powder. Yum! :)

If you are not near there, take a walk around looking for displays in your store. It was funny because my daughter spotted it and I had walked past it.

@smolder13---I am more than sure we care those flavors at my HT on Creedmoor. There is a coffee display near the meat case in the back of the store...I don't remember exactly, but I am sure I saw it, because I remember thinking I would use my raincheck to get some great flavored Millstone coffee!!!

trichardson, Target had a grocery flyer in the home delivery paper on Wednesday. The TB was $0.99/lb, limit 2, and the sale was valid through Wed., 11/21. Their whole frozen turkey, in case anyone's interested is $0.79/lb. They did not mention anything about the $5 GC in this flyer, though.

For any of the other coffee fanatics out there: Does anyone know why Millstone doesn't seem to have any of their normal holiday flavored coffees (peppermint, gingerbread and pumpkin spice) out this fall in the stores? My mom and I have been looking out for them in every store we go in and they are nowhere to be found. I contacted the company by email this morning, but was just wondering if anyone else had any inside info already. Even the dunkin donuts holiday flavors only seem to be available at Target...what's going on this year?
