Ctune000, begin your journey for mystery shopping at mspa.org. This will lead you to the reputable companies. You will have to give your social security # out at some point as you will operate as an independent contractor. Be prepared to use your own money to pay for items, meals and services with waits as long as 6 weeks to get paid. You must have an eye for details and be very observant. Do not pay to take the "gold" test. I work all I want with only a "silver" certification. You can work as little or as much as you want, but don't plan to get rich at it. I enjoy the free meals! Good luck!

Quick question for all you fellow couponers. Is anyone out there a mystery shopper and if so what are the companies that can be trusted.

Thanks to all for your responses

jdouglas13-I saw honey crisp apples at the Aldi in Fuquay last week. It was a 2 lb bag (as opposed to the 3 lb bag all the other apples are in) and I believe it was $3.29.

LOVE Honey Crisps! And they are about to get to be hard to find (late in the season)...I usually 'bite the bullet' and get a bag down at the Farmer's Market...quality is usually very good!

sunandsea, I think Smart Ones frozen meals are affiliated with WW and I know they have coupons through their site (maybe email?).

genialynn, that was an awesome price for 5 lb Domino sugar! Sorry I missed it. I'm hoping it will go on a good sale for the holiday baking season.

Finally, I am craving some Honey Crisp apples. Has anyone seen them for a reasonable price? Does Aldi's carry them? I bought 2 apples today at Lowes for... hold on to your seats... $4.90. I nearly fell over at the cash register!

mommymia, I used to be able to buy Farmland bacon either at HT or Lowes -- can't remember which, and they have since stopped carrying it. Personally, and this is JMHO, I wouldn't pay $3.29 for that bacon. They are so many good deals for better bacon for less. If you like Kunzler (which we do), get on their mailing list and you will get coupons from them every month.

sunandsea I am a lifetime WW member and I get most of my produce at Aldi. While there are some things I used to buy with coupons that I choose not to eat any more, I can usually find a family member that will eat the freebies or I donate.

I just joined Weight Watchers and wondered how you all handle both couponing and buying healthy/ low calorie foods?
