For the Kroger turkey deal, is the $35 before coupons? Also, is $0.79/lb a good price for a turkey?

Great deals at Target today- lots of pork on sale (I got 2 super thick chops for $4.50, and pork tenderloin is also on sale)... an even better deal if you got the $1 off fresh meat text coupon. Also, just in time for chilly weather, Mossimo fleece zip up sweatshirts are on sale from $15 to $10. If you buy 2 there is a $3 off 2 coupon on the Target site, plus a 20% off cartwheel for this product. Ended up being about $6.50 each... and there were still a ton of colors/sizes left when I went a few hours ago :-)

Oxymoron02, we have one of those UPS deals and it has saved the day several times. My husband runs his biz from home and several times when the power went out he was able to get another two hours out of the backup battery and get the most important things accomplished. Well worth the money if you hsve more than a casual internet need. Ours came from Costco about two years ago and I would never be w/o it again. Not sure what brand we have but a great tool.

This deal may be for more than you need, but I can't be the only uber-geek who reads this, so ... (UPS stands for Uninterruptable Power Supply, it's a battery you plug your computer into so you can run for a bit after the power goes off, if for no reason other than so that you can properly shut it down, also does surge protection, really nice UPS units will connect to your PC via USB and actually shut it down for you in the event of a power failure)

Staples has a coupon on their website for 40% off APS UPSes regularly priced $149.99 or more. Expires 10/26, valid in store only. (APS is a great brand, BTW)

I wasn't planning on shopping for a new UPS until my husband neared the end of his current project, but I may have to reconsider our buying priorities on this project and buy the UPS now because $150 was about the price point of minimally acceptable units for what he's doing.
