If you are in the Four Oaks area you may want to buy milk, bread and gas. Dollar General sells its store brand milk for $2.40 and their store brand large eggs for $.95. Wilco-Hess sells unleaded regular gas for $3.14 a gallon. Each competes against the Wal-Mart Express that opened in the spring.

MEREDITH88 - HT is great customer service. I had them accidentally enter a RR twice because it was a busy weekend and they needed a manager override on something, well the manager entered the RR as well, after the cashier did. He looked at the negative total and told me, "Just buy enough to make it positive, ok?"

This isn't a deal but an example of HT's wonderful customer service. I went there last night to pick up my free Taste & Tell pasta. I also took my rain check from a month or so ago for the Filippo EVOO for $2.97 a jar and my $1 off Qs since they expire soon. Since they were sold out of the sugar deal for last week these are the only items I ended up buying. When the cashier rang up my EVOO she manually changed the price to $2.97 a bottle like normal. However when she scanned my VIC card it took off $1.50 a bottle because that's the current sale. I used my $1 off Qs so each bottle was only $0.47. So I got 3 bottles of EVOO and a box of pasta for $1.50 total! The manager was already standing beside her to give her change and saw her mistake but decided to let me have the better deal anyways and just show her later the correct way to do it.
