Glad you had a nice experience !
KFR customer service is wonderful !
I could not get my paid for coupons to print - I tried again and it said I had printed them already. I called and a very nice representative sent me new links and waited until I printed .

I posted about this several days ago. I had a code from Kellogg's that would not work. So I took a photo of it and attached it to an email I sent to them about it. They responded with what was supposed to be the right code. Well, it was a code that I had tried already and it still was not accepted. They did credit me with more than enough points to compensate. But it shows that sometimes even if you get enter the right code, it will not be accepted. But if you contact them about it, they will credit your account so all is not lost.

observant - thanks for the additional info. $50 per week is a good frugal budget. Sounds like you are doing all the right things. And I hear ya regarding the chips in the house!

Faye At home right now are only me and DH
Common Visitors include : 3 grown children and spouses and 4 grandchildren
I do not buy many pre-made/pre-mixed products anymore - bread and buns are about it - maybe a bag of chips ( if it is here I will eat it and I do not need to eat it )
I do pressure can , freeze and dehydrate as much as possible.
    SWAGBUCKS helps alot .
I currently have 6 large jugs of TIDE ( allergies in family require this brand ) - I used CVS gift cards( swagbucks) , ECBs - earned more ECBs and the SavingStar cash back - total cost FREE !
Watch out fro paper towel and toilet tissue - check the price per sheet ( you may want to calculate it for yourself ) and if the item is 1 ply or 2 ply - you may find you are using more of the 1 ply since it is thinner so you really did not save .

luvstoQ - clearly you were successful at being frugal all those years if you are living comfortably in retirement. That's wonderful!

observant - How many people are you feeding, beautifying and paper producting (lol) for $50/week?

  • luvstoQ Jan 30, 2015

Thanks Faye! Hate to show my age, but we 'are' retirement now - have been for 7 yrs. I just enjoy 'acting' like I'm young!! LOL Really enjoy cooking/baking and all the recipes posted by everyone, but we do enjoy our share of dining out - guess that, and vacations are our splurge ;-)

Keep up the good work of posting all those coupons and good deals each week - really enjoy using your expertise!!
