FYI - My dad is having surgery today and will be in the hospital for a few days. He should be just fine when all is said and done but I may not be on the blog quite as much for a couple days because I will be hanging out with him. I'll still be doing all the regular posts and checking in regularly. Who knows, with all the down time and waiting that happens when you are in the hospital, I may have plenty of time to blog! Let's hope they have wi-fi. Please post all your great deals. Hope you all have a nice Monday!

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers for my dad. His surgery went just as planned and he may even go home tomorrow! I have only excellent things to say about Rex Hospital from the kind and attentive care he has received to the free parking to the great menu that patients get to order from. It is far and away the best hospital experience I have had and we have been to all the biggies here in the Triangle.

southern by choice - don't know about a new Walmart coupon policy. The official policy, which changed about a year and a half ago, can be found here:

MatrixEscapee - great deal on the Ragu - thanks for sharing!

jwstevens - don't know about Kmart stopping their doubling and probably won't have time to call until Wed. If may want to call your local store to see if they are still doubling. If you find out anything, please let us know.

Thinking of you and your family...hope all goes well. I thought of a question last night...just getting around to posting it...normally in the KMART circular they note that they will double 5 coupons up to $1.00 for Rewards members...it was not in yesterday's circular...do you know if that has been discontinued?? Thanks
