Sexual assault reported in Fayetteville

— Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault that happened Friday night at an apartment complex in Fayetteville.

Authorities said Monday that the victim told detectives that she was in the parking lot of Hidden Creek Village Apartments at 11:50 p.m. when a man wearing a ski mask approached her with a handgun, took her behind the apartment building and attacked her.

Investigators had a vague description of the man. He was 6 feet tall and wore a black jacket, dark blue jeans and purple and teal tennis shoes.

    @savannahmarie2 Even with a ski mask you can get eye color and skin color by his hands and skin exposed around eyes.

    Very vauge indeed. Was he big, small, long hair, short hair, bearded, what race was he? Have we become so politcally correct that we cannot even give a physical description of a criminal?
