Sexual assault reported at NC State fraternity house

A female N.C. State University student told campus police she was sexually assaulted Monday afternoon, according to WolfAlert, the school's crime alert system.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A female N.C. State University student told campus police she was sexually assaulted Monday afternoon, according to WolfAlert, the school's crime alert system.

The student said the incident happened at the Theta Chi fraternity house on Maiden Lane and she was assaulted by a male student known to her, the alert said. The incident was reported at approximately 5:45 p.m.

Campus police are investigating the incident.
