Seven people arrested in Raleigh homicide

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have arrested a seventh person in the slaying of a man whose body was found in a southeast Raleigh subdivision Saturday morning.

The body of Robert George Gagnon Jr., 28, was found at 5600 Bringle Court in a subdivision off Poole Road. A neighbor reported hearing sounds of a scuffle in the home during the night, police said.

Bravette Devon Chrisp, 18, was arrested Monday evening, police said, and is expected to be charged with murder.

Marcus Pierre Davon Johnson, 21, and Darrell Jerome Lavine, 19, were also charged with murder in Gagnon's death. Zachary Delarente Colmore, 17, Ebony Monique Johnson, 18, Louis Johnson III, 21, and Joshua Lee Locus, 20, were charged with accessory after the fact of murder.

Police haven't released information about the cause of Gagnon's death or a possible motive.

The case remains under investigation.
