Officers in Selma used a Taser gun on a man who they said wouldn’t leave the police station on Wednesday.

SELMA, N.C. — Officers in Selma used a Taser gun on a man who they said wouldn’t leave the police station on Wednesday.

Police said when Gary Sanders, 40, of Micro, was asked to leave he started cursing. When he refused to leave, officers used a Taser gun on him.

An officer sustained minor injuries in the scuffle.

Sanders was charged with resisting arrest and being intoxicated and disruptive, authorities said.
