A security guard at a Rocky Mount nightclub has been convicted of raping a woman in 2009.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A security guard at a Rocky Mount nightclub has been convicted of raping a woman in 2009.
Kenneth Olson Norman, 43, of Tarboro, was convicted Wednesday of second-degree rape and second-degree sexual offense.
Rocky Mount police said that Norman sexually assaulted a 22-year-old woman in the parking lot of Club 252, 2720 N. Church St., where he worked, in October 2009.
He was sentenced to a minimum of nearly 15 years in prison. Once released, he'll have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
