RALEIGH, N.C. — A Broughton High School security officer was arrested Monday morning at the school and charged with writing bad checks, officials said.

The unidentified man works for a private security company that contracts with the Wake County school system to work at several area schools, said Michael Evans, spokesman for the school district.

The man won't work in schools again, Evans said.
