Second woman dies after Wilson shooting
A woman wounded in a Wednesday night shooting in Wilson died Friday of her injuries, police said.
Posted — UpdatedShadimond Littleton, 19, of Fairview Avenue in Wilson, had been in critical condition at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville since the shooting.
Police responded to a report of shots fired at 1011 Wilson St. and found two women in a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria with gunshot wounds.
Shikia Denise Hall, 20, of Redwood Drive in Wilson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said the women were parked outside a friend's house, but they have released no details about the motive for the shooting or information about a possible suspect.
