Second woman dies after Wilson shooting

A woman wounded in a Wednesday night shooting in Wilson died Friday of her injuries, police said.

WILSON, N.C. — A woman wounded in a Wednesday night shooting in Wilson died Friday of her injuries, police said.

Shadimond Littleton, 19, of Fairview Avenue in Wilson, had been in critical condition at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville since the shooting.

Police responded to a report of shots fired at 1011 Wilson St. and found two women in a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria with gunshot wounds.

Shikia Denise Hall, 20, of Redwood Drive in Wilson, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the women were parked outside a friend's house, but they have released no details about the motive for the shooting or information about a possible suspect.
