— Police have arrested a second man in connection with a robbery and shooting at a Wake Forest convenience store.

Jesse Lee Bundy, 19, of 1312 Rio Valley Drive, Apt. 104, in Raleigh, was charged Friday with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Investigators believe he drove another man, Kendrecus Marquell Williams, 20, to a Quality Food Mart on Feb. 29 to commit an armed robbery.

Bundy waited in his vehicle while Williams allegedly robbed and shot Samir Patel, 32, in the abdomen, police said. Bundy was aware a crime had been commited when he drove Williams from the scene.

Patel is still recovering from his injuries.

Bundy was in the Guilford County Jail under a $170,000 bond Monday for an unrelated robbery in Greensboro.  That amount was increased to  $180,000 after he was charged in Wake County.

Williams, of 505 E. Davie St., Apt. C, was arrested March 11 and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He was in the Wake County Jail Monday under a $1 million bond.

Not only was he the get-away driver in this robbery but he also committed another robbery in Guilford County. What is his community leaders doing to stop his behavior?

Glad that he is off the streets and I hope that his bail is so high that he can not get out. If he was my child, he would stay right in there since he wants to be and adult, I would make sure that he has his own adult money and lawyer, because he will definetley need one.
