Second suspect arrested in Kinston double homicide

Kinston, N.C. — The Lenoir County Sheriff's Department on Saturday arrested and charged a second person in connection with the deaths of Paul Brown and his wife Melody.
According to deputies, the couple was found dead in their Kinston home at 1560 Cobblestone Drive Tuesday evening.
Tara Robinson-Carlyle, 30, of 3333 Ponderosa Drive in LaGrange, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder. She was being held without bond at the Lenoir County Sheriff's Detention Center.
Keith Edwards, 35, of 3333 Ponderosa Drive in LaGrange, also faces two charges of murder, and other charges against him are pending. He was being held Wednesday at the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Detention Center.
According to authorities, Robinson-Carlyle was present during the murders and is Edwards' girlfriend.
"We are certain that we now have our final suspect in custody," said Sheriff Ronnie Ingram.
No additional information was immediately available.
