Second man charged in Sanford club shooting

SANFORD, N.C. — Police have charged a second man in a fatal weekend shooting at a Sanford nightclub.

Jaquell Maurice Tysor, 23, of 602 Pineland St. in Sanford, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder.

LaToyia Shantae McIntyre, 22, of Sanford, was killed early Sunday as she and her younger sister left Club Bumble Bee, 3002 Industrial Drive, police said. Witnesses told police shots were fired in the parking lot, and one bullet hit McIntyre.

Police said they haven't determined if she was the target of the shooting. The sisters had gone to the club for an after-prom party.

Timotheus Devon Dunbar, 24, of 105 Chisholm St. in Sanford, was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree murder in the case.
