— A Virginia woman has died from injuries suffered in a head-on collision two weeks ago, police said.

A Toyota driven by Jennifer Faye Burnette, 38, of Norfolk, Va., collided head-on with an Infiniti driven by Judylynn Jean Zamber on Capital Boulevard near the Wakefield Development on Oct. 26, police said.

Burnette turned left from Common Oaks Drive onto Capital Boulevard and was driving north in the southbound lanes when the wreck occurred, police said.

Burnette died last Tuesday, and Zamber, 32, of Raleigh, died on Oct. 29.

Burnette had been charged with driving while impaired and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, police said.

They are too busy censoring our posts to worry about getting their own correct. Nice job WRAL. NOT!!!!

As did I...I wish WRAL would improve its staff. If it's not reported in a timely manner it shouldn't even be reported. Moreover, if the editing department hasn't seen it, we shouldn't see it either. I see far too many misspellings, double words, and other issues that SpellCheck will not catch.

    Sad story once again.
Died last Tuesday,? i don't mean to seem unfeeling but this should have been last weeks news,,,,,
when i saw the headline i thought the story was addressing the other driver in the Clayton head on collison over the weekend.the driver who killed the 18 year old,,
Suggestion:..maybe could update more often or have a date in headline,,, kind of confusing way it was titled.
