Seattle developers seek to revamp shopping centers

Posted Updated

A few Seattle contracting companies  are in for some cool projects. The Seattle Times reports that developers are trying to revive Eastside shopping centers. For instance, the Lake Hills Shopping Center was in decline, but saw its rebirth as a mixed-use facility. The new facility includes a library, housing, and shopping. The architecture is a far cry from the suburban shopping centers built 60 years ago.
