Search for Granville mom takes place on foot, horseback
Kelly Morris’ father, Pat Currin, said volunteers last week found bones in the southern end of Granville County, but the bones turned out to belong to an animal.

Search party members met at the Berea Fire Department in Oxford Sunday morning to look for signs pointing to the fate of Kelly Morris, 28, of Stem.
The mother of two was last seen Sept 3. The next day, deputies found her car, keys, purse and cell phone in an undeveloped subdivision, shortly after firefighters responded to a fire at her home, 3220 Tump Wilkins Road.
The Granville County Sheriff's Office has named Morris' husband, Scott, as a person of interest in her disappearance. The office has six detectives devoted to the case.
The high-profile group, Texas EquuSearch, was joining the search by foot and horseback Sunday. Volunteers switched their focus to northern Granville after searching the southern part of the county.
EquuSearch asked anyone who owns hand-dug wells within 40 miles of Stem to contact them.
Kelly Morris’ family is offering a $30,000 reward for information that leads to finding her. Anyone with tips can call volunteers at 919-812-2310 and e-mail helpfindkelly@gmail.com.
