Scotland Neck man faces indecent liberties charge
Halifax County sheriff’s deputies have charged a Scotland Neck man accused of taking indecent liberties with a minor whom he met on MySpace.

HALIFAX, N.C. — Halifax County sheriff’s deputies have charged a Scotland Neck man accused of taking indecent liberties with a minor whom he met on MySpace.
Deputies arrested Darrick Lamont Augborn, 25, on Monday on charges of statutory offense against a person who is 13,1 4, and 15 years old, second-degree kidnapping and indecent liberties with a minor.
Authorities said Augborn met the
teenager on the social networking site and convinced the juvenile to meet him.
Augborn was in the Halifax County Detention Center Tuesday night under an $80,000 bond.
His court date is scheduled for Nov. 17.
