Scotland Neck man charged with stealing firearms

Scotland Neck, N.C. — A Scotland Neck man was arrested Saturday on charges that he stole several firearms from a residence last March, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.
Terrece Lloyd was charged with breaking-and-entering, larceny after breaking-and-entering, larceny of firearms, possession of stolen firearms and injury of real property.
Detective Roy Rock said that investigators recovered one firearm that was stolen from the residence on March 25, 2009.
Lloyd was placed in the Halifax County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond. His first court appearance was set for March 3.
