I'm sure there are others out there, but I wanted to share a couple of opportunities to save some money on Christmas and other holiday presents.

Uptown Kids Consignment, now at 1225 S. Main St., Wake Forest, is holding its annual Toy and Baby Gear Sale. The store is full of a variety of toys, including Barbies, Cozy Coupes, ride-on toys, Lego sets, doll clothing and more. The sale is open to the public 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m., Sunday (when everything is 25 percent off). During the toy sale, the store also will host a tent sale where items will be just $1 or $3.
And the Kids Exchange, the massive consignment sale at the N.C. State Fairgrounds, is trying out a Christmas Toy Exchange this year with toys, decor and more. It will be open to the public from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Nov. 20, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Nov. 21. Some items will be half off from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Nov. 21. (There's still time to sign up to sell at this one too!).
