Sanford, N.C. — A Sanford man was shot in the head Friday as he drove along North Horner Boulevard, police said. He then crashed his car into a building.
Timotheus Devon Dunbar, 28, died later at an area hospital.
Police were called to 1142 North Horner Blvd. just before midnight on the report of a car into a business, Central Carolina Security. There they found Dunbar.
Police said the shooter apparently drove by Dunbar headed the opposite way, fired and kept going. A passenger in Dunbar's car was unhurt.
