Sanford man, 50, killed in wreck
The state Highway Patrol investigated a fatal crash in Lee County just before 9 p.m. Sunday along the 2400 block of Rocky Fork Church Road.

Carl Douglas Jr., 50, of Sanford, was driving west when he drove off the right side of the road, over-steered, went off the left side of the road and struck a tree. His vehicle then burst into flames, authorities said.
He died at the scene, officials said.
