It's always great to see the guys from the Sandbox band, who played at Go Ask Mom's event at the Midtown Farmers' Market at North Hills on Saturday.

They specialize in fun, folksy family music and lots of joking around. Their concerts always are a lot of fun for kids and their adults.

They have a couple of shows coming up in the next couple of weekends. Here's the schedule:

The band will perform at the 10th annual Fall Harvest Celebration at Historic Yates Mill County Park just south of Raleigh. The free festival runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, at the park, 4620 Lake Wheeler Rd., Raleigh. The event also includes a children's scavenger hunt, storytelling, displays, demonstrations, food vendors, farm tool displays, other performances and more. Sandbox will perform on the Center Porch from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., Saturday.
They'll also perform at the Wake County Storytelling Festival at Historic Oak View County Park, 4028 Carya Dr., Raleigh. The free festival is 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 26. Sandbox, the featured performer, will play at 11 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. at the main tent. The event also includes storytelling, a wagon shuttle and other activities.

You also can catch them performing their original song, "Hem and Haw," in the video. Thank you, Sandbox!
