Life Hates me

Saturday night I took a friend to visit some friends out in country, misjudged the driveway, and pulled into the ditch. Came back less then 10 hours later to access situation and see what I needed to do; Sheriff's Dept. had shown up while I was gone and had it towed. I find the towing place, beg them to let me come pick it up Sunday as I needed it for work. They charged me $205 for towing and "weekend" pickup. I get around the corner and through the gate to get in it, and they had busted the tie rod and front grill when they pulled it out. Can't drive it, and they hadn't even told me this before I paid. Now I'm trying to get it fixed and have no money. I live 23 miles from work and work from 6 am to 2:30. I got a ride today, but not sure how I'm gonna get through the rest of the week.

I can't quite figure out why "the real me" posts started....from what I've gathered it began with someone upset at the trolls.

Death Penalty: Where do you stand?

I am just curious. I see many commenters here and there stating that people should be put to death. It seems the support comes from all walks of life, regardless of religious preference, politics or age. I would assume (and probably wrongly) that most Christians and so-called "liberals" (no offense intended) would be against the death penalty. So kindly indulge me and clarify your position.

It appears that many people here enjoy blogging as a means to both keep in touch with online friends as well as express themselves. As we've all seen lately, the fact that this whole site is moderated allows for very little freedom of expression.
