I just ate some Swiss Rolls out of a vending machine and now I feel kind of sick. =( Sugar on an empty stomach was a very bad idea.

WRAL.com's comment filters would not let me say that if an illegal has a [look at picture] baby they should not get special treatment because other criminals (murders, rapists, etc.) don't stay out of jail just because they have kids and home and don't want to be seperated.

My Dad's side of the family comes from Durham, so all of the Durham Hate I see in the news is personally relevant. I definitely understand the concerns about their serious crime problem (it's why that whole side of the family moved elsewhere) but there are plenty of people who defend the city. So what keeps those people from moving away? What are some of the good points about Durham? Do you feel safe living, traveling, and raising a family in Durham? I want to know what life is really like there and I know I'm not going to get that from the news stories.

So my mom told me this morning that the police found a huge patch of marijuana growing on Holly Springs Road. She said it was on WRAL and a few other news sites but now they're gone. Makes you wonder if there's a coverup, HMMM???

I'm thinking about getting a cat. I used to hate them, but after meeting some of the sweeties at the Wake SPCA my whole opinion on them has changed. Before I went the only cats I had encountered were mean little monsters that would hiss and scratch at me AND their owners. I couldn't figure out why anyone would willingly keep something so vicious in their home. Now, though, I know that cats can be loving, playful, and fun. I went there to check out the dogs but I left wanting a cat.
