Memorable moments so far:
Eating cheddar Goldfish crackers with B.B. King. He was in Choctaw, Miss. in 2005 and he made an exception and did an interview on a Saturday with me. The bus was so hot and he kept apologizing. He likes it really warm. He was wearing a tuxedo and was comfortable! Anyway B.B. asked his grandson to make it cooler in the bus because he didn’t want to “melt the lady or the gentleman (the photographer that was with me).” The interview was supposed to be 10 minutes, but it lasted 40. By the end of it, B.B. was introducing us to casino officials as “his friends.” He really opened up and talked about his life. It was by far his most revealing interview. He had a huge box of the Goldfish sitting in his bus. I asked if they were his favorite snack. He was like, “do you want any?” He opened them up and just shared them with us. We were sitting on this bus with this legend just eating crackers!
