News Philosophy
I want to bring you the news that’s important in your life. News that affects you and is meaningful to you. I will be honest, objective and compassionate with a healthy dose of fun thrown in!

Education
B.S. in Radio TV and Film from the University of North Texas

Birthplace
Springfield, MO – not quite born in a barn but certainly spent enough time there!

Hobbies, Interests & Community Involvement
My kids’ activities tend to dominate my time right now. I didn’t grow up with soccer but I’ve grown to love it! Two of my children play it and my husband breathes it. Basketball is my top sport though! Hoops anyone? Gardening is another love of mine. I grew up with a huge garden on our farm and I tend to put vegetable plants wherever I can!

Likes Best About North Carolina
I love the beach! After living in land-locked Missouri most of my life, I’m thrilled to be so close! But the thing I love the most about NC is that I met my husband here, at WRAL.
