Most Memorable Assignments:

Features on hang gliding and deep sea fishing. Really enjoyed an outdoor series we did on whitewater rafting and trout fishing. I enjoy all major teams and sports we cover. Learning about stockcar racing and hockey has been an interesting challenge. Major interviews with coaches -- the late Jim Valvano, Mike Krzyzewski and Dean Smith on his retirement. I enjoy most interviews with today's college athletes. The quality of answers has improved over the past 10 years.
