Most Memorable Assignments:
I spent a week following "The Last Great Race," the Iditarod dogsled race through Alaska. It was a beautiful and wild experience. I'll never forget what my bush pilot told me as we took off for a remote checkpoint. She said: "See that road down there? There isn't another one until Russia.
