Roxboro man charged in bank robbery
A Roxboro man has been charged in connection with the Tuesday morning robbery of a local bank, authorities said Friday.

Bryan Lamont Weeks, of 206 Front St., was charged with second-degree kidnapping and common law robbery. He was being held in the Person County jail under a $750,000 bond.
A man entered the BB&T branch at 595 N. Madison Blvd. on Tuesday and handed the teller a note demanding money, police said. A weapon was not displayed during the robbery, and no injuries were reported. The robber then fled into some nearby woods.
