Posted July 1, 2009

Raleigh police charged the treasurer of a Raleigh rotary club with embezzlement Wednesday.

An arrest warrant alleges that Paul Joseph Stafford, 41, of 1511 Sunday Drive, stole almost $60,000 from Rotary of the Capital City between October 2006 and June 2008.

Stafford was being held in the Wake County jail on $20,000 bond.

With the Rotary being all about ethics you would think differently if not for the mug shot and story on WRAL.

There might be another Rotarian in the news for submitting an untruthful statement in a federal investigation. She knew better also but being the territorial person that she is and all I suppose her husband didn't care that she herself was being pinched on that rear school bus bumper. That alone is against the law!
