FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A 33-year-old Roseboro woman died in a single-vehicle wreck south of Fayetteville Friday night, according to the state Highway Patrol.

Troopers said that Stephanie Jane Thomas crossed the center line of N.C. Highway 210, then over-corrected. Her vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck a ditch, fence and tree before stopping.

Thomas, who died, was the only person in the vehicle.

Troopers said Sunday that the cause of the wreck was still under investigation.
