oh, I meant to say a BACK to school rally. BUT, what you need to understand is that our main focus is on the children. Not the adults. We are trying to reach the kids before it's too late for them. People like Mr. Artis. He's a grown man.

oooooooooooooo - Be on the look out for other rallies throughout the city. Oh, and thanks for the publicity. Even Haters promote our cause, without even knowing it.

ooooooooooooo - you're right, he didn't attend the Stop the Violence Rally, but, there were plenty of people who did. You keep confusing the Juneteenth Celebration with the Stop the Violence Rally. lol. you are really funny. Anyway, our rally was very successful, so much so, that there will be rallies going on in other neighborhoods throughout the summer. And not only that, the city loves our idea of an end of school rally, that will include relay games. Kinda like an rky mt olympics. Thanks for your concern.

I wonder if Rocky Mount will keep up with it pace of 16 murders per year.

  • ooooooooooooooooo Jun 12, 2009

Evidently Billy Ray did not attend the "Celebration" last Saturday for the right reasons.

Sound Tech-There is always an excuse. I feel so sorry for these "victims" I don't know what to do. YEAH, RIGHT!

I am not surprised by this. Our newly appointed District Attorney here in Rocky Mount just stated last week that the school systems and the court systems have failed our young black youth causing them to act like this.

Wadetp, so do I. I carry a Glock 29 10mm loaded with Federal Hydrashock. I grew up in Rocky Mount and haven't lived there in over ten years but I learned my lesson about self defense quite early. By the way I'm a liberal. Not all of use are anti-second ammendment rights.

Don't worry Billy. DA Robert Evans understands it's not your fault and he'll protect you.

It's been 9 months since he was a guest of the DOC. Maybe he was getting lonely for his old friends.
