Rocky Mount police searching for missing woman

— Rocky Mount police are searching for a 21-year-old woman who was last seen Tuesday leaving a friend's house on White Oak Road in Enfield.

Britinae Rachelle Whitehead left around 9 a.m. and was believed to be driving a gold, four-door 1994 Honda Accord with North Carolina license plate AAD-5876, police said. The car also has a front plate with "Jessica" on it and the name "Jessica" on the back window.

Whitehead is approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds and has long, dark brown hair.

    Could they have the wrong serial killer in jail? Hope this has nothing to do with those crimes. Just makes you wonder at first thought.

    landshark..The Amber Alert is for Missing or kidnapped children. Silver Alert is for Aged, or Dementia related person or those that have serious medical conditions. Its not feasible to have alerts for every person that is missing. Posting it on news sites like this is the best thing... Sure hope they find this lovely young lady...

    Why is RMPD doing this? If she was last seen on Whire Swan Rd, shouldn't Halifax Sheriff be doing this?

    Actually, the RMPD are making phone calls to other counties to reach out for there help too. It says the RMPD because that is where she is from.
