The Rock 'n' Roll Raleigh Marathon Series unveiled its course Thursday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Put on your running shoes and get a jump-start on your long-distance training and get ready to party!
The Rock 'n' Roll Raleigh Marathon Series unveiled the official course for the city's inaugural marathon and half-marathon runs on April 13.
The event, billed as "a 26.2-mile block party," combines running with live entertainment. Runners encounter cheer squads and local bands lining the course.
The event includes a two-day Health and Fitness Expo at the Raleigh Convention Center.
