BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI — Robots are serving up drinks inside a new bar at the Hard Rock Casino in Mississippi.

Jengo, a robot bartender, can make up to 120 drinks an hour. He made his debut during the grand opening on Hard Rock Casino's new "robo bar" on Thursday.

Members of the community gathered for the bar's grand opening party. Officials say the venue is only the second of its kind in the country.

"There's nothing like it on the coast, there's nothing like it on the whole Eastern seaboard here," said Megan McGuinness, a Marketing Consultant for Hard Rock Casino.

The serving process is surprisingly simple -- customers choose their drink from a kiosk, swipe their card and the robot makes their drink.

Then, customers scan their tickets to pick their drink up.

Jengo can make billions of combinations, but creators say he still needs some human hands. There are about eight to 10 people working with the robot -- servers help people put in their order, mechanics service the robot and IT employees work to advance the ordering system.

"It's not the end of what we are going to do at Hard Rock," said Phil Juliano, CEO of Twin River Management. "There's plenty more coming."
