Greenville police search for murder suspect

— Greenville Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a man they believe is responsible for the shooting death of a person early Saturday.

Police are looking to arrest 17-year-old Deon Daniels on one open count of murder in connection with the shooting death of 20-year-old Quastepheon Hardison.

Daniels is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has medium complexion and close cut black hair, according to police.

Police say that Daniels was last known to live at 301 Cadillac Street in Greenville. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Hardison was found with a gunshot wound, lying in the intersection of Ridge Place and Courtland Road around 2:25 a.m. Saturday. He died later at the hospital.
