Robbery Reported on Duke Campus

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Tuesday night on Duke's West Campus.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Tuesday night on Duke's West Campus.

A Duke University staff member left the Bryan Center and was walking along Union Drive at around 7:30 p.m. when a vehicle flashed its lights at him from a parking lot, police said.

Two men reportedly got out of the vehicle and approached the man, demanding he empty his pockets. The man then gave cash to two men and ran from the scene unharmed. He contacted authorities.

The men are described as two black men approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall. Police said one of the two men wore a hat and glasses. A description of the vehicle is not available.
